The 3 6 9 method is a popular law of attraction technique that gained traction on TikTok. Apparently, the technique helps people focus on a single desire and manifest it into their reality in a single day.

The effectiveness of this technique lies in the concept of written affirmations. You write a sentence or a paragraph, which is roughly 100 words long. Then you rewrite what you wrote 3 times in the morning, 6 times afternoon, and 9 times in the evening.

As we already know, beginners don’t know what exactly to do after learning about the law and how to approach it. So basically, this technique helps them set a definite practice which they can easily incorporate in their schedule. And this is where the magic happens.

Inspired action: Don’t do it because everyone else is doing it. Every single soul in this universe is different and carries and nurtures its unique seeds throughout the time and life it has taken up on this planet.

The 3 6 9 method, step by step

Step 1: Decide what you want.

  • Tip 1: As a beginner, start by manifesting one thing at a time.
    One who wants to manifest everything at once never manifests anything, because manifesting everything is similar to wanting everything.
  • Tip 2: Don’t get too excited around what you’re manifesting.
    The one who is excited about manifesting things manifests more exciting thoughts about manifestation. So, don’t waste your energy thinking about manifestation per se. Instead, focus on doing the practice whole-heartedly.

Note: Focusing on an affirmation for 17-seconds taps you into the flow state and makes you think progressive thoughts around that affirmation. This 17-second rule is stated by the LOA expert Abraham Hicks. Make your affirmation sentence 17-seconds long. Or make multiple affirmations that add up to reach the 17-seconds mark.

Take note of your desires and list out the limiting beliefs around that desire (on a different page). For instance, to manifest money, you ask:

  1. Do I really believe I can manifest it?
  2. Am I worthy?
  3. What am I going to lose if I manifest it? and so on.

Doing this puts out the whole map of your brain on paper, regarding the object you’re manifesting. So, once you write down your limiting beliefs with absolute authenticity, you can accept those beliefs and then start cancelling them out with opposite thoughts.

Step 2: Affirm three times in the morning.

In the morning, right before you get off your bed, write down the affirmations 3 times, and saturate your mind with similar thoughts. Visualize that you’ve already gotten it. Express your gratitude to the universe or God.

For example, if you want to manifest $500 today, close your eyes and watch 5 notes of 100 dollars in your mind. Then imagine that they are yours. Align your thoughts like you already got them.

Step 3: Affirm six times in the afternoon.

Keep your afternoon lunch as a cue for the 3 6 9 method. Pull out your journal/notepad and write down the same affirmations 6 times. Visualize and feel the money coming towards you. Follow the steps as mentioned previously.

I’d recommend doing this practice before lunch or after your afternoon coffee or tea break. Before lunch is an ideal time because you’re already in an anticipation frequency (of delicious food). It’ll empower your ritual too.

It’ll uplift you making the manifestation more powerful. After you finish writing, don’t forget to forget about it.

Step 4: Affirm nine times in the night.

Before going to bed, write down the affirmations 9 times and visualize as mentioned in the previous steps. You must go to sleep immediately after finishing, so plan accordingly. Don’t pull out your phone, turn on the TV for a late-night binge after the technique. Just write it down 9 times before you go to sleep, lie down and visualize it as you drift off.

Bottom line

Are there limits to what you can create? — Short Answer. No!

Manifesting a 6-figure business with this technique would probably take more than a day, since, for anything worthwhile, it takes time. And also, don’t think about it after completing all the steps.

Don’t make the manifestation greater than you. Do it like a game! It will naturally make the process effortless. Remember, the universe is effortless. Moreover, after you finish visualizing, be happy and grateful for the car you just received. Do everything that makes you happier, because you wouldn’t be sad if the car manifested, because emotions and thoughts are the most powerful tools on the planet. More importantly, steer away from toxic positivity. If you don’t feel happy now, do things that make you happy than “trying to feel happy now”. Happiness is a consequence of right action (Whether that action is mental or physical).

You don’t have to worry or think about that. So, your visualization or manifestation practice should be directed toward having that emotional state.

Your connection with any person is determined by your feelings for them. The question is how the second person perceives that energy. What you feel is always transmitted, but you need to understand what the other person is going through. Be gentle to their energy and you’ll understand that they’re just like every other human being, entangled with their own life.

But first, how do I know if they’re the right person for you?

Your desire is a confirmation, and even if things may not seem so, it is because you’re creating resistance around your manifestation with conflicting thoughts and emotions like jealousy or desperation.

However, sometimes we tend to disregard certain traits, qualities and behavior in our SPs that become problematic later in the relationship. For instance, the person you’re trying to attract might be allergic to cats, or they’re pessimistic or a narcissist. It could be anything!

So, just keep that in mind. The person you want so badly today might mean nothing to you tomorrow. Maybe, maybe not! You be the better judge.

Note: Ensure that, along with love, you hold utmost respect for the person you’re after. Be kind and accepting to them.

Do you agree that the universe is always on your side? I know that many people cannot. They become desperate and co-dependent. “I can’t live without them. I want to die.” No! Step 1: Know Who They Are

Observe their personality, friend circle, and other subtle things, and be genuinely interested. Don’t come off as a creep, though. The details will aid you, so it’ll be great if you friend them first, although, it’s not necessary. In fact, why do you think LOA experts say, “Book a test drive, live in the sample flat, feel as though it’s yours”? Activity (Karma) aligns your energies. So, imagine what kind of life you’re going to have when they’re in your life. Take that as a target to calibrate your effort.

With the intention in your mind focus on yourself (your mind and thoughts), and you’ll notice the change. People will be drawn toward you naturally.

Here are some steps you can take to align your energies:

  • Become less of who you are through concentration.
  • Then visualize them sitting in front of you.
  • Visualize and engage your senses until you believe that they are actually present.
  • Concentrate on them.

A clear mental image help the universe recognize what to manifest.

Step 2: Know why you want them (Be clear and definitive)

When you’ve decided what you want – When you have no way to retreat, it will happen because you or the universe has no other way to go. However, defining your ‘why’ is important to make this decision.

Okay! For instance, we don’t buy a smartphone because it has 100 features. We only buy one because we see what those 100 features can do for us. And then, we manifest it!

You might be saying, “Ah! Manifesting a phone with money is a different matter.” – But actually, it’s not! It’s working on the same principle: The law of attraction! Don’t you think it’s funny when we put different standards for different desires? Something can be manifested; something can be bought. NO! Anything can be manifested; with or without money.

Everything is functioning through the law of attraction. Only the expression of things change.

Step 3: Visualize, write and feel as though they are already obsessed with you (In mind)

Now, see them already as yours! Watch how their personality will interact with yours when they are obsessed with you. Choreograph your own mental scenarios. Do everything in your power to feel their presence in your mind. Now’s the time to match the frequency you want to manifest.

You can start by creating an entire schedule of the day with them. It is easy to do. Just write it down! Jotting down is a great way to engage the mind into storytelling. It will naturally put you under deep concentration.

Step 4: Embrace your limiting beliefs and Have Faith

Surrendering is an art of a devotee. You can be an admirer of a God, Deity, person, or even an imaginary being. Everything you imagine is a reflection of the universe. When you believe in something, you let go of things effortlessly. I’ve explained it in my book “The Secret Path To Supernatural“.

When you learn to have faith in something, your powers to manifest skyrockets, and everything comes to you quickly. Even spiritual growth.

And if you feel that you aren’t able to develop faith, take some action. Invest in yourself! Action is another form of karma that takes you toward manifesting your desire. Yes, thoughts manifest, but faith is developed through action — because when you act, you empower you faith to achieve what you want.

Step 5: Let go!

Now that you’ve already manifested them, you don’t need to do anything about it. It has already happened so forget it.

Do you know, the only thing that stops manifestation from happening is our clinginess toward it? At least, that’s the case among the people I’ve met.

Clinginess is natural when there is fear, anxiety, and a lack of belief. You can create anything if your thought process is simple. If you feel scared of it ‘not happening’, be okay with not being able to manifest them. Keep check of your vibrations all the time, and only make moves when you’re in a good vibration.

When you’re getting up to make yourself some hot brew, do you think whether it’ll manifest or not? Sounds absurd right? Don’t create a distinction between things that are supposed to be manifested and the things that you can easily get. Notice your behavior when leaving for work.

Did you manifest the bus? YES!

Did you manifest a specific seat? Yes, you did!

If you want to establish a high-value image amongst the one you want manifested, then you must stay cool and distant with them.

Being in a higher vibration naturally draws people toward you. If you’re jolly and filled with bright energy of joy and true happiness, you’d notice, not only that people are attracted to you, but also that they want to have real, genuine conversations with you.

4. Be Independent of What ‘they’ Think

Feeling and behaving like a victim may get you sympathy, but nothing more than that. When you don’t care what others think, you do feel independent and it displays in your behavior. When you’re not bound by the shackles that others struggle with, you naturally become attractive and strong.

5. Most important of all: Be Authentic

Among most teenagers, the popular ones copy their favorite idols and stars. Don’t do that unless you want to remain a beta version of someone else. Introspect and find yourself. Develop interest toward knowing yourself and others. And there’s also a saying that goes like this: If you want to be ‘the most interesting person’ in the room, then you’ve got to be ‘the most interested person’ as well.

Do you leave space beside yourself when you go to bed?
Do you have a single cup or two cups at home?

Make your surroundings cohesive with what you’re manifesting. Keep an extra toothbrush and more food at home. Close your eyes and describe how their presence feels. Engage all of your senses for a boost. Watch how amazing it feels!

Create vacuum!

Remember to keep your mind open and receptive to your beliefs. If you think you manifested the wrong person, don’t stop there. Believe that the “wrong person” will lead you towards the real one. That’s why I say, just forget about it as if it didn’t even happen.

Since “the secret” came out, many people have scripted their way toward manifesting all kinds of things. Some people ask, what are the exact steps you take to write a script that influences your deep-mind and set the law of attraction into action?

This post covers the basics of scripting, and a scripting manifestation template at the end. So, you can directly head on and start creating your future today!

Note: Before anything else, decide what you want to manifest through scripting right now, and stick to it. Don’t change your desires and create vague goals while writing the script, as that’ll only make your goals more vague.

How Does Scripting Work?

When you write something, you’re engaging more parts of your brain into it than just thinking about it or reading something. Writing makes your thoughts more articulate and organized. Furthermore, writing something repetitively a hundred times can literally change our thinking. I remember writing affirmations several times for punishment at school. Why did teachers use that as a punishment? Because it worked!

Yes, our thoughts and intentions are tangible, but they can also be vague and inarticulate. For instance, if I wanted to manifest a car. I’d visualize it. But it won’t be as clearly defined and crystallized until I write down how it looks, feels, and how I got the money to pay for it in the future. You have to write down your goals, and write how you accomplished them in past tense.

When you write it in past tense, you’ll notice a change in your mindset and that shift will immediately start empowering your manifestation without you even doing anything.

Once you’ve given a physical form to your goal, you’ve planted the seed. Your mind will automatically start bringing new ideas, new beliefs, and new desires in the form of inspiration to you.

So, now that you understand why scripting is so powerful, let’s take a look at the method and guidelines to follow.

1. Write as the future you

Don’t write your desires simply like that, do not write how you’re going to manifest something, and definitely, never write your intention on the script.

Scripting means writing a script of the future. So, think of yourself as the director of your life, and imagine that you have an amazing movie in mind that you’re going to manifest. Now, write that movie as someone who has already watched it — or rather, lived it. Here’s an example.

"I walked along the familiar path, feeling the warmth of the sun on my skin. As I strolled, something caught my eye on the ground. I bent down and saw it—a shiny coin, gleaming in the sunlight. It felt like a little gift from the universe, just waiting for me to find it.

The universe always provides for me, in the most unexpected and delightful ways. I felt grateful and at peace, knowing that I am always in the right place at the right time. Finding that coin was a reminder that abundance is all around me, just waiting to be discovered. I felt a deep sense of connection and trust in the flow of life. It was as if the universe was saying, 'I see you, and I am always here for you."

2. Keep your vibrations high

Emotions hold more power than bland thoughts. When you’re feeling good, your intelligence becomes more active than usual and your mind becomes more clear.

Naturally, when your mind is clear, your intentions are clear, and so are your desires. Clarity helps you decide what you want, and when you know you want it, you don’t hesitate. So, keep asking yourself, do I really want this?

As you do, be grateful for what you have. It is already implied that if you want something, it will manifest itself. So, that’s the only question that needs to be answered. Take the question as a practice exercise, and keep pondering over it: Do I really want this?

3. Don’t be hasty

One visualization can be powerful enough to manifest something into your life, but it may not change your very being, and therefore may not change your life then and there.

Practice, patience, and emotions, if you keep these three in check, and not worry about the result, then you’re ready to receive it.

Each day or night, go back to your workbench and read and write your script. There’s nothing wrong in being obsessed with your practice and your vision. Obsession comes when you’ve become single pointed. Single-pointedness is ideal because that’s when you’re truly engaged with the higher intelligence.

4. Visualize with your whole body

Each sensory perception is a dimensions in and of itself. Sensory engagement makes your visualization look very real, and gives clear affirmation signals to the subconscious mind of what you really want.

How Often Should You Script?

This totally depends on the level of engagement you had when you did the practice. If you have no strong inclination toward manifesting something in your life, then we’d say you can do scripting often (i.e., more than once) — Otherwise, just doing it once and making it a memorable experience is all you need.

If you struggle with writing a script, you could write as though you’re writing your daily diary. Write down the experience you want to have throughout the day as if they really happened. And visualize them as you write. We’ve also attached a scripting manifestation template, in case you have no experience writing daily diary.

That’s it!

I don’t want to name this technique because I didn’t create it. It is usually used in meditation and I read about it from Swami Vivekananda’s writings. He was a widely known Hindu monk and philosopher. He was also a disciple of Ramakrishna if you are familiar with him. Rhonda Byrne (creator of “The secret”) also used to read Ramakrishna’s writings, from what I remember.

Paraphrasing Swami Vivekananda, Any thought that appears right before tapping into a state of deep concentration manifests. It is as simple as that, but not quite easy. Here’s a technique that I learnt from him. If you want to tap into a deep state of concentration:

  • Relax your body completely.
  • Relax your mind like you do when you go to sleep.
  • Now visualize a white bright light at the center of your forehead (in the shape of a circle).
  • Keep watching the white light until it completely halts your mind.
  • You’ll experience that you’ve gone into a complete halt in time. (Not when you’re under its effect)

Practice this technique every day for 10 to 20 minutes. Practicing concentration for too long might not be a good idea, initially, as your brain is not attuned for such a task. This method is quite difficult to follow, but if you’re able to master it, you’ll very much be not a natural human being. You’ll be able to use your attention to perform miracles (as many would say).

According to yoga, a human can act in the world via 10 means, called 10 Karmendriyas. The first five are the five senses, and the other five involve mental activities; consuming ideas, releasing or letting go, changing mental states, desiring, and speaking or mental dialog. The more of these 10 senses you engage in an activity, the greater the energy you imbue into that activity. Through writing your desires, you’re giving more energy to your manifestation practice compared to simple visualization.

How to Visualize When Manifesting Something

You can visualize, but it’s not vivid or anywhere close to real-looking? Don’t worry. Most people “believe” that! In this post, you will discover a visualization technique for effective application of the law of attraction.

But before we move into the crux of manifesting exact situations through vivid visualization exercises, let’s understand what visualization is, exactly, and how it can change your mind (and life) within a matter of days!

What is Visualization?

Visualization is just a thought with colors (and other sensory details), that can be used to practice, predict, or manifest a future event. Knowing how to visualize properly gives you a supernatural edge in the world. Want to know how to do it? Read through!

Human awareness is a big mystery. Studies suggest that Thalamus is a part of the brain which is responsible for creating human awareness. But these studies are not set in stone because the definition of awareness is taken loosely. These studies were primarily focused on Thalamus, not awareness.

Here’s a fun fact: In psychology, we determine the presence of human consciousness/awareness by asking questions that the test subject cannot answer (does not know the answer to). If the test subject gives an answer that doesn’t make sense, it is not conscious.~ Shuflash

Human awareness/cosmic consciousness watches the visualization and harmonizes with its vibrations depending on the clarity and stimulation the visualization created. Of course, the physical design of the universe complies to this harmony, but this is only in terms of momentum. Wherever attention goes, energy flows, and it’s all about the law of thermodynamics. What you think about the most, becomes your quality. So, just a simple visualization cannot shift your energies. The visualization must have enough impact to change the way you think! And I’ll to teach you how to do that (using a technique and secret tips to hack into your brain).

To make your visualization have an impact on your very life-energies, you have to imbue the visualization WITH your life energies. And this “decision” is something YOU make. Do you really want it? And if you do, ask yourself why you’re hesitating to go ALL OUT on it. Keep asking yourself this, and ASK yourself what’s stopping you from having it.

Argue with yourself through-and-through, contemplate, question, and come to a decision. This method of contemplation focuses your emotions to some level on what you want. And once your emotions are focused on something for 21 minutes, that state of mind seeps deeper into your energy body and starts feeding onto your life energies.

Looking at the science behind visualization from a physical perspective, visualizing a future event creates neurological patterns that direct the mind towards that event. The mind begins to move towards that event through every little opportunity it finds.

The Human Brain

The part of human brain, called the occipital lobe, processes visual inputs and gives us the power to visualize. When you’re consciously visualizing something, you’re training that part of the brain. But do you know, you can increase the speed at which you learn, by trying out different visualization techniques.

  1. When you’re reading a pictureless novel.
  2. When you are visualizing past events
  3. Even visualizing events that never happened.

The power of visualization: Visualization is an essential ingredient in creating your future the way you want. Let’s discuss a step-by-step comprehensive approach to improve our visualization skills!

Create Your Personal Domain: A Step By Step Approach

The best way to begin visualization is by visualizing and designing an imaginary room of your own. Think of it like your personal adventures. When you close your eyes, you shift to a different landscape, and you explore new territories, find stuff, take it home, build new things with it.

We’ll not be venturing out in the forests and mountains now. But if you want, take that as an assignment from me, and tell me about your experience in the comments below. We could all find new territories when we read others’, so I’m excited about what you come up with.

Whenever you want to visualize something, first construct this room in your mind and think that you are sitting inside that room. Soon, you’ll master visualizing the room as real as real can be, and you’ll be able to create more things inside that room. I’ve covered the visualization practice in great depth in my book SPTS. In this article, we’re going to apply it through a follow-along exercise.

1. Visualization Practice

The key to doing a successful visualization session is, you’ve got to relax first. Become mindful of all the tension and knots you’ve built inside your mind and body. Do the practice as follows, this is designed to develop the imaginary room for you. Practice this daily!

Take deep breaths and relax your body totally. Stop all worries and stress. There’s no need to be worried about things that don’t matter. Focus on your breath as you breathe deeply. Close your eyes and visualize an apple–give yourself enough time and do it now. Once you finish continue reading further.

So, how realistic was the apple?

Now, consider putting all of these aspects to your visualization:

  • The color
  • The texture
  • The source of light that reflects upon the apple and makes it visible
  • The smell of the apple,
  • And the size.

Ok, now do it again but define the points mentioned above and see how you feel. Do it now and then read further. Didn’t it make your visualization 5 times more vivid? Let’s do it again, but with our eyes open as we read. Engage all your senses into it.

2. Visualize An Apple: One step at a time! [Follow along]

Do not focus on the background yet, keep it dark or of any color of your choice. Don’t TRY to visualize. This time close your eyes and hold the apple in your hand. You can do this by using your physical hand to help visualize better.

Observe the apple. Describe the apple to yourself. It would be better if you do it loudly so you can hear it. Say something like: “I am holding this red apple. I can see its color. I can feel its smooth texture with my hands.” Rub your fingers over it to feel its texture better. Then say “I can feel its weight.” Bring it closer to your face and smell it. “I can smell it. It smells like an apple.”

Now taste it and describe its taste to yourself.

Ok, now throw the apple away or keep it somewhere. Since everything is black around you. Let’s start building a room for you. First, deal with the apple and visualize a place to keep the apple, you can also eat the whole apple (the seeds too). Make things as realistic as possible.

No excuses or lazy thinking like “Aw, I don’t want to visualize the apple so I’ll visualize a black hole and throw it inside it.” Act like this visualization is the real world. I can help you create a room.

This is going to be fun (remember, the more realistic your visualization is, the more fun it would be!).
